BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU

After a childhood playing almost every sport that it's possible to play in Ireland, I suffered a number of significant injuries in my late teens and early 20's before discovering a martial art called Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), the foundation of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and, ultimately, the UFC.

Having quickly developed an obsession with the art, I now train BJJ most days and compete regularly, including trips to the IBJJF European Championships in both 2022 and 2023, the 2022 IBJJF European Masters and regular local competitions.

It's a process of continuous improvement that simply requires consistency but, as a recently promoted purple belt (December 2023), I'm still just getting started...
